Sony Vaio repairs are our new speciality…
- Philadelphia, PA -
We repaired Zeta’s Macbook last week, and as we mentioned in that blog post, she had another laptop with a broken screen: A Sony Vaio VGN-CR190 glossy screened laptop. When we did her first repair, we ordered a screen for her Sony as well.
Once we received the screen, we scheduled another repair at her office. The price of the repair was only $189!
“I need my Macbook’s screen replaced RIGHT NOW!”…
- Philadelphia, PA -
As you probably guessed by the title of this blog post, Ashley called us and needed a repair “as soon as physically possible!” She needed her computer to be fixed so she could study for finals, and she needed it now!
We met her at her house in Germantown and her Macbook’s screen was replaced in about 25 minutes. Talk about quick service!
Oh, and we do PC laptops too!

- University of Pennsylvania -
Kelly works for the University of Pennsylvania and has had a Compaq Presario sitting in her closet for the last 2 years. She never thought she would be able to get her computer repaired for anything even close to being an affordable price. She saw our ad on the SEPTA platforms, and decided to take a chance and email us. We informed her that we do perform repairs on PC’s as well, and quoted her a repair price of $189 to replace the screen on her Compaq.
Needless to say, Kelly was thrilled, and we scheduled the repair. We ordered her screen, and met her on the University of Pennsylvania’s campus and did the repair while she was on her lunch break. She obviously loved it, and now loves her Compaq Presario again!
Always have your computer charged when we meet you for your repair…

- 30th Street Train Station -
We had been talking to Chrissy from Drexel Hill for the last couple of days. One of her friends stepped on her Macbook Pro a couple of months ago, and she had been using it essentially as a desktop computer with an external monitor. She saw one of our SEPTA train ads a week ago, and decided to give us a call.
We worked out that the perfect place to meet would be 30th Street Station because we had a repair in New York City earlier today, and since we take the Bolt Bus from 30th Street, meeting there would make the most sense.
So Chrissy finally got her Macbook Pro’s screen replaced, but not without a little bit of trouble. She hadn’t charged it in a long time, and the station didn’t have a lot of power outlets, so at the beginning of the repair and after the repair was complete, we had to sit on the floor and turn on her computer!
It’s possible for something to hit the glass on your Unibody Macbook and only break the LCD…

- Olde City -
Garrett has been without the use of his 13-inch Unibody Macbook for the last two months. He told us that he had no idea how the LCD of his computer got broken. He admitted that he was out late the night before, opened up his computer the next morning, and saw the damage. He then took it to Springboard Media and Bundy Computer, and both places told him that it would be $100 just to look at the computer.
Garrett decided that he would just use his iPhone, netbook, and larger Windows laptop. He was fine with this setup, but when he saw our Septa train ad at Temple University, he went on his iPhone and checked out our website. He called us up, learned about the process, and wanted the repair done as soon as possible.
We met him at his apartment in Olde City, and Garrett thought it would be easier to do a pickup/dropoff instead of the repair in his home. He has two dogs and it isn’t exactly the best environment to make sure that no dust particles get behind the glass during the repair. So we picked up his Macbook, and dropped it off to him while he was out at Triumph Brewery a few hours later. Hopefully Garrett and his computer made it home safe!
