We can replace hinges and display assemblies on 13-inch white Macbooks too…

Arlene emailed us a few weeks ago with a few pictures of her daughter’s white Macbook that had sort of come apart. Both of the hinges had snapped clean through, so the laptop was now essentially a desktop, because the screen couldn’t hold itself up. We told Arlene that we could replace the entire display assembly sans screen for the same price as a screen repair ($299).
We picked up Arlene’s Macbook from her work in Philadlephia and dropped it off later that afternoon. She was so happy that the laptop could be used as a laptop again!
Second breaks are the worst, but better once you know about us!

Jessie is a student at Friends Central and he is fairly accident prone. He’s actually broken the screen of his white Macbook once before, and his mom had to pay $1,000 to get it fixed. Luckily, his mom knew about CrackedMacScreen.com through some of her friends and when he broke his screen a second time, she knew who to call.
We were able to repair Jessie’s Macbook before Aaron at Drexel and Jack in Andorra, so it was a very busy Sunday night for us!
If you break your 13-inch Macbook glass a second time, the repair is only $100…

Believe it or not, only two people have broken their screen for a second time in the three years that CrackedMacScreen.com has been in business (knock on wood!!!). Melissa got her glass replaced on her 13-inch Unibody Macbook on February 15th, and her blog post can be seen here.
Somehow, after four months of perfection, she left her Macbook downstairs in her house with her two dogs, and you can probably figure out what happened. She had a pretty sizable crack starting on the “Macbook” text right above the keyboard.
She emailed us, and we were able to replace her glass a few days later. It only cost her $100.
If you are going to be in Philadelphia for the day, you can drop of your phone/computer at our shop in Roxborough…

Kelly emailed us last week about the broken glass on her iPhone 3GS. Her friend told her about CrackedMacScreen.com, so she decided to email us herself to see what the deal was. We called her back, and explained that since she is WAY outside of our service area, and because she has an iPhone, it wouldn’t be worth it for us to come all the way out to Ocean City to replace her iPhone 3GS glass.
She told us that she would be in Philadelphia today for a Phillies game, and that her friend lives in Roxborough. We told her that she could drop off her iPhone to our shop in Roxborough and we would replace the glass and she could come back later to pick it up.
So Kelly did just that, and her phone was fixed in 45 minutes!
If you send us an email at 11:30pm, most likely we’ll respond and be able to set up a repair for the following morning…

Jason emailed us last night at around 11:30pm about the cracked glass on his 15-inch Macbook Pro Unibody. He was leaving the University of Pennsylvania for the summer on Tuesday, and needed his computer fixed before then. We exchanged several emails back and forth, and before we knew it, it was 1:30am!
We set up a repair at his frat house this morning at UPenn. After about an hour, his computer was perfect again and ready for summer vacation. I think we need a vacation too…
