If your dog chews on your Macbook, your screen will most definitely break…
- Wyncote, PA -
Leo emailed us yesterday morning about his white 13-inch Macbook that needed to get its screen fixed. We gave him a call and scheduled the repair for this morning at his home in Wyncote. He was thrilled that we could come to his house on such short notice because he had his two little kids at home so having an in-home repair was amazing.
Upon entering his home, our Repair Tech was greeted by two extremely happy dogs. Apparently the smaller one had gotten ahold of the corner of the Macbook’s screen and had a nice long chew date with it. Obviously, this cracked the screen and put some nice bite marks on the bezel. After securing the dogs behind a door gate, we got to work. The screen was replaced in 30 minutes and it’s safe to say that the dogs will be kept on a shorter leash around their Macbooks.

Cracked in the morning, fixed in the evening…

Ronya loves Google…and so do we! She gave us a call after making several Google searches for local companies that repair computer screens. She shared with us some of the search combinations she tried: “San Diego computer repair,” “Macbook computer repair screen.” “fix my Macbook screen.” “Apple Care cracked screen coverage.” “fix computer screen,” “cracked LCD repair.”and “screen repair in San Diego.” Finally, she found our site after typing in “San Diego Macbook screen repair.” We came up first!
Within minutes she was on the phone with us and describing how her LCD screen had cracked that morning. We briefly explained our service and set up an appointment for later that evening. Ronya, a sophmore at SDSU, was happy to have her Macbook screen repaired and back in business 45 minutes after arriving. Glad we could be a part of your weekend. Good luck with midterms.

We don’t really believe in ghosts, but if you think a ghost broke your screen, we’ll believe you…

Daniel emailed us last week about his 14.1-inch iBook G4 that had a completely broken screen. He had actually seen our flyer on Temple’s campus back in September, but he didn’t have the money saved up for a repair until now. We told him that it would be $299 to replace the screen on his 14.1-inch iBook and he was thrilled because he had been quoted more than $500 from shops in the Philadelphia area that would have had to have his computer for at least a week.
We met him at his dorm at the Edge on Temple’s campus and his iBook was repaired in about 30 minutes. He told us that he had left his iBook in his dorm with the door open and when he came back in his dorm room, the computer was on the floor. The Ghost of the Edge? Daniel isn’t sure, but one thing he’s sure of is that he’s going to take better care of his iBook in the future and recommend CrackedMacScreen.com to all of his friends with Macs.

The first sign of a broken Macbook screen is icons arranged strangely on the desktop…
- Jenkintown, PA -

Chris gave us a call after seeing our ad at the King of Prussia Mall outside of the Apple Store. He had been quoted a really high price that he couldn’t afford, so decided to give us a call. He loved that we are a local Philadelphia company and do repairs locally. He especially liked that he could watch us do the repair, since he honestly was just interested how it was done.
We met at the Starbucks in Jenkintown and got his computer back to normal in 30 minutes. I don’t know if you can tell in the pictures, but all of the icons on his desktop were dragged away from the crack in the screen so he could continue working on it. Hopefully he cleaned up the desktop a bit now that it’s fixed!

Beware Macbook! Six-year-old on the loose…
- San Diego, CA -

Tim gave us a call yesterday evening. He was looking for a computer repair service to fix his wife’s Macbook screen. Apparently, his youngest son had been playing a little too closely to mom’s computer. Sure enough, a toy truck found its way speeding towards the nearby office desk and the rest is history.
Jodi, the now not-so-happy mother and owner of a Macbook with a broken screen, did several Google searches looking for help. She wanted a company that was local and could get the job done sooner rather than later. After several unsuccessful attempts, she decided to add “San Diego” into the equation. After finding our site and glancing through several of our pages, she handed the phone to Tim. We set up a time to meet and were able to get her screen looking brand spanking new again. Glad we could help. Look out for those trucks!
