…cracked. Such was the case with Sarah, a student at USC. She was home in Texas for summer vacation when one night she woke up to a loud noise and a shattered LCD screen. Just days before leaving for fall semester, she was a bit bummed out that she’d be starting the school year with a broken Mac screen.

Before I fell asleep, I put my Macbook between the bed and the table…

…and sure enough, when Samuel woke up in the morning he Macbook’s LCD screen had a big crack in it. The screen was destroyed and Samuel could only make out about 10% of what was on the screen. Being a post-doc student at UCLA, he needed his Macbook back in a hurry. He quickly turned to a tool we’re all familiar with – Google. After a few strokes and mouse clicks he landed on our website and began to look through some of our posts and macbook reviews to make sure we were legit. An email and a phone call later, we had an appointment with Samuel at Boelter Hall on the UCLA campus.
Not wanting to take away from his studies, we told him we’d be able to fix his LCD screen in about 30 minutes. Once finished, he was happy to get back to work. Will you be in LA on Friday?

Nicole wrote us an email a couple days ago asking if we’d be up in the LA area on Friday. We mentioned to her that we travel up to LA once or twice a week and told her that the next time we’d be there would be this Friday. Super busy working for the LA Times, she asked if it would be possible to meet somewhere in the downtown area. We said no problem and settled on Groundworks right on 2nd Street. Nicole had a shattered screen on her Macbook laptop and needed the LCD screen replaced.
We met her in the afternoon and did the repair right outside of the restaurant. It was a beautiful day and we got the chance to show off our service to many of the people passing by. My daughter shattered her Macbook Pro today :(

George, a resident of Glendale, CA, called us last Thursday to ask if we’d be able to repair his daughter’s Macbook Pro.
