Repairs in a crowded train station are no problem…

While doing Tabitha’s repair in New York City, we got a call from Bob who was at the King of Prussia Mall. He had already taken his Macbook to Best Buy, where they took off the screen bezel, and unconfidently told him that they could fix the screen. They said it would be at least $1,000. That was obviously way too much when he could get a new one for $999.He

He then drove across the parking lot to the Mall to the Apple Store. They told him it would be $600 to fix. They recommended that he go online and try to find the right screen to fix his Macbook, but he was unsure if he could even do it. If the Geek Squad couldn’t do it, why should he be able to?

So defeated, he walked out of the Apple Store and saw our sign at the exit of the Plaza side of the mall, in front of the Verizon store. He gave us a call, and we arranged to meet at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, because we were coming back from New York City at 2:30pm. He met us at 4:30pm, and his son’s Macbook was fixed by 5:00pm. Perfect timing.

We got an email Sunday night from Nora S. She told us that her son was on his Macbook on the floor when her daughter dropped her cell phone from 4 feet above, right on top of his screen. The screen cracked and ever since then had been spreading across, making the computer almost unusable.

They took the Macbook to the King of Prussia Mall and found out that it would be nearly $900 to fix. Luckily for Nora, her daughter, and her son, they saw our new CrackedMacScreen.com ad in front of the Verizon store, at the entrance/exit of the Plaza, next to Lord and Taylor.

A member of our Repair Team met Nora at the Starbucks in Paoli the following day. Her son’s computer was good as new in 30 minutes, and needless to say, he daughter won’t be twirling her cell phone above the Macbook any time soon.

We got a call today from Jen B. who was out shopping at King of Prussia Mall. She had recently purchased a brand new 17-inch Macbook Pro for herself and given her 10 year-old son her old 15-inch 2.16 Ghz Macbook Pro. He was busy making a Father’s Day video for his dad (that alone should tell you how long the computer has been broken) when he walked right into the side of a coffee table and hit the Macbook on the edge. The screen was broken and the Father’s Day video never got finished. This was in back in June.

His mom knew it would be expensive to repair. She put off taking the Macbook to the store until today. She found out that it would be $750 to repair! She said “That’s just way too much.” When she went to leave the mall, however, she spotted our brand new ad at the entrance/exit of the Plaza side of King of Prussia Mall, in front of the Verizon store, next to Lord and Taylor.

She gave us a call, we told her it would be $349 to fix, met her at a Starbucks near the mall 30 minutes later, and had the computer good as new in another 30 minutes.

Tim emailed us from King of Prussia. He had a TV antenna hanging from a window that happened to be directly above his 2.33 ghz Macbook Pro Aluminum. The antenna fell off the window and cracked his screen, making his computer completely worthless. He needed the computer fixed, and fixed FAST.

After our return email, he called our toll free 888 number and a member of our Repair Team was dispatched to his house. Within 15 minutes, the repair was underway. In another hour and a half, the Macbook Pro was good as new. Now that’s fast service, the CrackedMacScreen.com way.
