Roger is a student at the University of Virginia in Roanoke. He was walking down the stairs of his house when his white Macbook “literally flew” out of his hands (his words, not ours!). It fell down the stairs and landed on his carpet. Roger obviously wasn’t excited to open it up, but he had to. The LCD was shattered, and the first thing that popped into his head was that he would have to pay a ton of money to get it fixed. Luckily for Roger (and us too) he did a quick Google search about cracked Macbook screens in Virginia and found our site. We have done a few repairs out of Virginia so we came up first.

Roger filled out the Repair Form and we got into contact with him in an hour. We emailed him his FedEx overnight label and he got his computer to us the next day. We performed the repair in a few hours and emailed him with a before and after picture and payment link. The whole process was smooth and painless, unlike when he dropped his Macbook down the stairs!

Second breaks are the worst, but better once you know about us!

Jessie is a student at Friends Central and he is fairly accident prone. He’s actually broken the screen of his white Macbook once before, and his mom had to pay $1,000 to get it fixed. Luckily, his mom knew about CrackedMacScreen.com through some of her friends and when he broke his screen a second time, she knew who to call.

We were able to repair Jessie’s Macbook before Aaron at Drexel and Jack in Andorra, so it was a very busy Sunday night for us!

Colleen in Raleigh, North Carolina broke the screen on her white 13-inch Macbook last week, and desperately needed it repaired. Her boyfriend Jay shopped around for a fast, affordable Macbook repair service online, and found CrackedMacScreen.com. What helped us was that we had already @replied Colleen on Twitter (@Colleen84).

Jay called us up and we explained the service. He said he needed a day or two to think about it, and called us back on Friday at 4pm to start the Ship-In process. We overnighted Jay and Colleen a box, which they received Saturday morning. They used the included free overnight label to ship us back the box with the Macbook inside, which we received Monday morning. We repaired it same-day, and Colleen was back to normal by Tuesday morning.

She was so happy that she blogged about it:

Kelly works for the University of Pennsylvania and has had a Compaq Presario sitting in her closet for the last 2 years. She never thought she would be able to get her computer repaired for anything even close to being an affordable price. She saw our ad on the SEPTA platforms, and decided to take a chance and email us. We informed her that we do perform repairs on PC’s as well, and quoted her a repair price of $189 to replace the screen on her Compaq.

Needless to say, Kelly was thrilled, and we scheduled the repair. We ordered her screen, and met her on the University of Pennsylvania’s campus and did the repair while she was on her lunch break. She obviously loved it, and now loves her Compaq Presario again!

We had been talking to Chrissy from Drexel Hill for the last couple of days. One of her friends stepped on her Macbook Pro a couple of months ago, and she had been using it essentially as a desktop computer with an external monitor. She saw one of our SEPTA train ads a week ago, and decided to give us a call.

We worked out that the perfect place to meet would be 30th Street Station because we had a repair in New York City earlier today, and since we take the Bolt Bus from 30th Street, meeting there would make the most sense.

So Chrissy finally got her Macbook Pro’s screen replaced, but not without a little bit of trouble. She hadn’t charged it in a long time, and the station didn’t have a lot of power outlets, so at the beginning of the repair and after the repair was complete, we had to sit on the floor and turn on her computer!
