“CrackedMacScreen? I’ve got a cracked Mac screen!”…

Christine called us up on Wednesday about her daughter’s 13-inch Macbook (apparently a lot of daughters these days are cracking their screens!). Christine lived in Connecticut, so wanted to do the Ship-In Program. We explained that we would overnight her a laptop box, she would overnight the laptop box back to us, we would perform the repair, and overnight the Macbook back to her. Three-way overnight shipping is included in the $299 price.

Christine thought that it sounded wonderful, so we started the process. She received the laptop box yesterday, placed the Macbook inside with a check made out for $299, and dropped off the box at FedEx. We received her computer today, fixed it in about an hour, and overnighted it back to her. Christine thought the process was “really painless”. So did we Christine, so did we.

“I need my Macbook laptop repaired ASAP…”

“Is there any chance you could meet us today?” Yes, we can. Jenny called us this morning and said that she had accidentally dropped her Macbook. The fall had caused the LCD screen to crack and left Jenny without a computer to work on. Being in an industry that requires her to spend a lot of time in front of her computer, she needed to find a laptop screen replacement service that could repair her screen ASAP. Like many of our customers, Jenny turned to the Internet and began searching. She looked up such terms as: “computer repair service,” “laptop screen repair,” “LCD replacement,” “laptop computer screen repair,” and “laptop screen replacement service.” Fortunately, after several unsuccessful searches she decided to include “Los Angeles” and “Macbook LCD” into her search. Sure enough, we popped up.

She took several minutes to familiarize herself with our computer repair service. She was happy to learn that we offer a cheap and fast way of repairing LCD screens. Before long, she was on the phone speaking with one of our repair team members. We were able to arrange a time and place to meet half way between San Diego and Los Angeles. Later that evening, Jenny was walking away with a fixed Macbook LCD screen at a third of the cost! Not to mention, we were able to get it done for her the same day she called.

Asia called us up last night after breaking the screen on her 13-inch Macbook. She had seen our flyers on Temple’s campus, but didn’t have time to find one since it was 11:45pm when she called. So she Googled “Macbook screen repair Philadelphia” and “Temple Macbook repair”, and we popped up on both searches. We scheduled the repair for today at 11am.

We met up at the laptop lounge of the SAC, and her white Macbook’s LCD screen was replaced in about 30 minutes.

Taylor, from Santa Barbara, got in touch with us a couple of weeks ago. He had seen our Los Angeles ad of on Craigslist and was curious if we’d be able to make it up to Santa Barbara to repair his broken Macbook screen.  After several emails, instead of heading all the way up to Santa Barbara, we were able to arrange a date when his father would be in LA and could meet with us. As luck would have it, we met Taylor’s father at one of the finest Exotic Grilled Sausage restaurants on the West coast – WurstKuche (www.wurstkucherestaurant.com). We repaired Taylor’s Macbook screen in less than thirty minutes and had plenty of time to enjoy a Mango Jalapeno and a Smoked Apple Sage bratwurst.
