Paying 50% for your second repair is pretty sweet…

William called up the DC phone number yesterday and I instantly recognized his voice. We had replaced the screen of his white Macbook about 6 months ago in Baltimore (he is a teacher and we came to his school during school hours). He is also a DJ and unfortunately right when he took out his Mac to start a vicious set, he saw that his screen was absolutely destroyed. Luckily for William, his second repair would be $150 instead of $299.
He met us up at our DC location in Georgetown and his Mac was fixed in about 30 minutes. Hopefully William won’t need us for a third repair!

“Looking forward to seeing my fixed Macbook”…

Holly emailed our San Diego branch a few weeks ago about the glass on her 13-inch Macbook Aluminum Unibody. It was cracked right by the iSight camera, and although it didn’t really affect the use of her computer, she thought it was super annoying and wanted to get it fixed as soon as possible. She sent in a repair form to Mike, our San Diego tech, and he referred her to the Ship-In Program. The same price as a local repair but two-way shipping is included for free. That sounded good to her, so the repair process started!
We emailed her a FedEx label and directions to her nearest FedEx store. She boxed up her Mac, put the label on the box, and it was sent to our nationwide repair center in Washington, DC. We replaced the glass same-day and emailed her with her payment link. She paid via PayPal, and we shipped it back. Easy!

Sending your Mac from your work address and having us ship it back to the same place is really convenient…

Michelle sent us a Repair Form on Friday. She had shattered the glass on her 13-inch Macbook Pro, and was really concerned about getting it fixed. She didn’t want it to get worse, so she needed a fast repair. She saw that at one time we performed screen repairs in New York City, so she asked us if we could meet her in Manhattan. I informed her that yes, at one time I replaced screens locally in NYC, but I moved from Philadelphia to DC in September so it’s impossible for me to some up to NYC for one Macbook Pro repair. I told her that the Ship-In Program is the best thing for her, and it would be even quicker than waiting for a local repair from the other shops in her area.
I emailed her a Two-Day Air label and instructions for getting it shipped out. She sent it out on Monday and we received it today. We performed her repair today, emailed her with a before and after picture, and she paid us through PayPal. Pretty easy process, if we do say so ourselves.

“Will my cracked Macbook screen get worse over time?”

Shilpa works at the Parkerton Inn in Cape Carteret, North Carolina and sent in a Repair Form a couple days ago about the cracked screen on her white 13-inch unibody Macbook. Although only a small part of the LCD was actually cracked, she knew that it would get worse over time so she wanted to get it taken care of before it was too broken to use.
We emailed her the UPS label and instructions for getting her Macbook shipped out. Luckily for her, the UPS store was only a mile from her work so she took it there on her lunch break. We received it two days later and performed the repair same day. Did we mention that the shipping was free both ways?

Maine! I can’t believe it! Maine! Wahoo! So anyway, yes, Maine is the newest state to use CrackedMacScreen.com. Michelle is the newest victim of the January cracked Macbook glass bug going around. She lives in Monmouth, where there is absolutely nowhere to get your Macbook screen fixed. Seriously.
She did a couple Google searches about broken Macbook screens and cracked Macbook glass and we popped up every time! Lucky for her and lucky for us! She sent in her Repair Form, we emailed her the UPS label (shipping is free, Two-Day Air) and she was able to send out her Macbook that day.
We received it two days later and she had it two days after that. Perfect screen, perfect repair.
