17-inch Macbook Pro Aluminum

The previous generation Macbook Pro (non-unibody) comes with a 17-inch glossy or anti-glare screen. It has “Macbook Pro” written underneath the screen and has a latching hook on the top or and a button on the front. The previous generation Macbook Pro has a removable battery.

How do I know if my LCD is cracked?
If there is distortion on the screen like a visible crack, "black ink", hypercolors, or lines of pixels, your LCD is cracked.

We don't sell batteries for Macs but we can point you in the right direction.

All of our parts are OEM, directly from the manufacturer. The LCD/glass that we install is the EXACT same one that comes out of your Mac.

Will I lose any data?
There is an extremely small chance that you would lose data from your hard drive, but it's a good idea to back up your computer anyway.
