Jessie is a student at Friends Central and he is fairly accident prone. He’s actually broken the screen of his white Macbook once before, and his mom had to pay $1,000 to get it fixed. Luckily, his mom knew about CrackedMacScreen.com through some of her friends and when he broke his screen a second time, she knew who to call.

We were able to repair Jessie’s Macbook before Aaron at Drexel and Jack in Andorra, so it was a very busy Sunday night for us!

Believe it or not, only two people have broken their screen for a second time in the three years that CrackedMacScreen.com has been in business (knock on wood!!!). Melissa got her glass replaced on her 13-inch Unibody Macbook on February 15th, and her blog post can be seen here.

Somehow, after four months of perfection, she left her Macbook downstairs in her house with her two dogs, and you can probably figure out what happened. She had a pretty sizable crack starting on the “Macbook” text right above the keyboard.

She emailed us, and we were able to replace her glass a few days later. It only cost her $100.

Brittany has been dealing with a broken bezel on her 15-inch 2.4ghz Macbook Pro for the last few months while being a student at Denison University (like Kenya!). She decided that now that she is done with school for the summer, she absolutely needed to get it fixed. Brittany did a little research online and found us, and inquired about how much it would be to replace the bezel on her Macbook Pro as well as the LCD, because she said that when she opens and closes the computer, the screen flickers and gets lines across it.

We told her that if she were to go to the Apple Store, it would be in the ballpark of $800-$900, and it would probably take as long as a week. Even though she is home for the summer, she really needs her laptop to be in her posession at all times, so this wasn’t an option. We told her that we would be able to replace the whole screen assembly for $549, which included a local repair at her home in Yardley. She was delighted, and we scheduled the repair for today. About an hour after we got to her house, her computer was back in action!

Nathan accidentally dropped his iPhone on the top of his closed 13-inch Unibody Macbook, denting the back case, cracking the LCD, and shattering the front glass. He had been dealing with the break for the last few months, and decided he had enough. He called us up and even though we have a repair location in Columbus, our Ship-In Program would be the only place that could completely repair his computer.

We started the Ship-In process on Tuesday, and he had his Macbook back to him on Friday. We successfully removed most of the dent in his case, replaced the LCD, and replaced the broken glass. Nathan was so excited!

Bob emailed us after seeing our ad on the SEPTA platforms. He had dropped his iPhone 3G and broken the outer glass two weeks ago. He wants to upgrade to the new iPhone, so he was looking to get it fixed for a good price. Luckily for Bob, we replace broken glass on the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS for $69.

We met him at his office on Market and 19th street, at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, and his phone was fixed in about 30 minutes.
