Jennifer is a student in Philadelphia that happens to work at the Philadelphia Zoo. She was walking with her Macbook in her hand last winter when she nearly dropped it but caught it in mid-air. She went to check the laptop to make sure it was alright when she saw that some vertical stripes had developed. The Macbook works perfectly, but it became increasingly annoying to use with the stripes.

She finally became fed up with her Macbook screen and gave us a call. We came to her apartment on Spring Garden and her Macbook was finally finally fixed, in about 25 minutes!

The after picture looks exactly like the before picture, but the after picture has a reflection of the blinds in the background, not the stripes!

Chris is a teacher in Center City Philadelphia. Having a cracked LCD on his white Macbook is something that he was not prepared to deal with for more than a few hours. Good thing he knew exactly who to call! He rung us up and in an hour (after the World Cup game of course) we met him at his Center City apartment and got his Macbook back in working order. We tried to convince him to change his background from gray to something exciting, but he likes his gray background!

Arlene’s daughter is a senior in college and has made it all four years with her trusty 2.4ghz Macbook Pro. She wants a new computer, and got one when she shut her Macbook Pro’s screen on the right earbud of some Apple headphones. Her mom, though, wanted to give the Macbook Pro to her younger daughter to use during college as well, so she wanted it to get fixed. Luckily for Arlene, we do local repairs in New Jersey as well.
