We don’t know why we are so popular in Raleigh, NC but we have gotten 4 or 5 repairs from Raleigh in the last two months. This latest repair was actually a referral from Colleen, who we helped out like 6 months ago. Apparently Colleen’s husband (or boyfriend) works for Apple and told Heather (Colleen’s friend) that she needed to give us a call.

Heather filled out the Repair Form and we got the repair process underway last week. We emailed her a FedEx overnight label and she sent off her Macbook on Friday. We received it on Monday, did the repair, emailed her a before and after picture and payment link, and overnighted her white Macbook back to her. She received it on Tuesday and was thrilled.

Thanks Raleigh, NC!

Putting your new Macbook in your locker is not a good idea…

Wei filled out our Ship-In Repair Form this week. He described to us how he had left his Macbook in his locker at school. When he opened the locker door, his Macbook came tumbling out and the rest (as well as his screen) was history. Being that he lives in Iowa City, he didn’t have many options to get his screen fixed. Luckily for Wei and for us, he found our site.

We emailed Wei with an overnight label as well as his repair receipt. He printed off his label and brought his Macbook to the closest authorized FedEx location (which we also told him in the email). We received his computer the next day and he had it back in his hands the day after that.

CrackedMacScreen.com adds Iowa City and the state of Iowa to our growing list of satisfied customers!

Lisa’s son, the owner of a now broken Macbook Pro unibody in Beverly Hills, was reluctant to tell his mom of the damage he had caused his computer the other day. He woke up early in the morning and the first step on the floor was right on top of his Mac Pro that he had left of the floor. After days and days of trying to avoid her at all cost he finally broke down and told his mom that he had cracked the glass on his Macbook Pro Unibody. Lisa was not a happy camper as she could only imagine the money it would cost to repair a Macbook Pro unibody glass screen. Resourceful as she is, Lisa turned to the trusty Internet to see if there were any alternatives to taking it to the Apple store. Fortunately for the both of them, she found a glass and LCD repair service in Los Angeles that would come to their home and fix the glass in the same day. She gave us a buzz and we explained our Mac repair service to her. She was delighted at the convenience and even thought it might be too good to be true. We scheduled an appointment with her for the following Friday. In just under an hour and a half we had the glass on her son’s Macbook Pro unibody repaired and looking like new. If you have shattered or cracked the glass on your Mac Pro and need a repair service that won’t charge you a fortune, CrackedMacScreen.com is your answer.

Dustin called us up and told us about the cracked screen on his 13-inch Macbook. He said “I’ve got an older Macbook”. We said, “Oh, you mean one of the older white Macbooks?” He said “Yea, yea”. So we set up the $299 ship-in repair for his 13-inch white Macbook. We emailed him a FedEx overnight label and he sent us his Macbook. Turns out, after opening up the box, that Dustin actually had a 13-inch Unibody Macbook with cracked glass. Luckily for Dustin, the repairs are the same price and we always carry parts for every model in stock.

We actually didn’t tell Dustin about this until his computer was shipped back to him. The price was the same so it didn’t really matter, but it was pretty funny anyway. We definitely learned a lesson that day!

Can we meet at the SDSU campus?

Of course we can! Ricky, a firefighter who lives up in north county, was planning on being in the San Diego area to visit his girlfriend and was curious whether or not he’d be able to get his Macbook’s LCD screen repaired while in San Diego. He gave us a shout over the weekend and talked a little about what had happened to his computer’s screen. Apparently, it was just a freak accident. It was lying the arm of his couch when he got up to get the telephone. When he returned he noticed his computer was on the floor and had a huge crack on the right side.

He checked out several Macbook repair services in his area. He needed his LCD fixed, and fixed soon! After a number of online searches that included the likes of: Macbook repair Del Mar, North Country Macbook service, Del Mar Macbook screen repair, he finally came across a site and service he felt comfortable with. He called us and arranged a time for us to meet him on the SDSU campus. We met on the 1st floor of the library and replaced the LCD screen on his Macbook in no time. In just under 40 minutes we had him on his way. He was taking his girlfriend out for dinner and we didn’t want to keep them waiting any longer.
