Obviously Heather doesn’t religiously read our Repair Blog. If she had, and read the story about Sarah in North Liberties here, she would have known that putting a Macbook in a carry on bag or a checked back on a flight is NOT a good idea. Heather had recently come home from spring break, and when she got back to her UPenn apartment, she discovered that the screen was shattered.

She hadn’t been using it for a couple of weeks before seeing our advertisement on the Septa train platforms. She called us up, and the repair was done in an hour. She couldn’t believe how great our service is!

Kaitlin’s white Macbook had a broken screen for about a month. She finally saved up enough money for what she thought the repair would cost, and was planning on driving to the Apple Store to get her screen replaced on Monday. Luckily, while taking the train home from class that day, she saw our new train platform ad by her apartment. She called us up, heard about our service and our price, and was thrilled! She thought she was going to have to pay at least $700, but for us to come to her apartment 30 minutes after her calling was only $299.

The repair was completed an hour after she called, and she vowed to recommend us to all of her friends.

Molly called us up about the broken screen on her boyfriend’s 13-inch white Macbook. She told us that he really wanted to get it fixed, but couldn’t find an affordable alternative to the Apple Store. Luckily for him, Molly found us online. But unfortunately, they are in Florida! We explained the convenience of our Ship-In Program, which involves free three-way overnight shipping, with the same prices as our local repairs.

Both Molly and her boyfriend were thrilled with the price and the speed of the repair, so we got the process started. We overnighted her boyfriend (Ryan) a laptop box on Monday, which he received on Tuesday. He put the included overnight label on the box, shipped it out, and we got it on Wednesday. We repaired the Macbook’s broken screen, and Ryan had the computer back in his hands on Thursday. He was so happy!

Amanda gave us a call on Thursday from Washington D.C. Her dog had pulled her backpack off of a table, and her 15-inch Unibody Macbook Pro was inside. Obviously, falling inside of a backpack is never a good thing for a Mac laptop to do. Amanda opened up the screen, and to her dismay, the glass had been shattered. Luckily, after a quick Google search, she saw that we do Unibody glass replacements, but the closest branch that does those repairs is here in Philadelphia.

Amanda called up the Philly branch at 888-420-9996 and set up her repair for Sunday. She drove in with her family and made a day trip of it. She dropped it off at 11am, and once her family was done with lunch at 1pm, she came and picked up her Macbook Pro. Good as new!

Getting your Macbook Pro’s screen fixed will make your house sell quicker…

Eric’s son punched his Macbook Pro with a pen in his hand, and obviously, the Macbook Pro didn’t survive the fight with the little guy. Eric took it to the Apple Store in Midtown, and they told him it was going to be $1,500 for the replacement screen, which Eric couldn’t afford and frankly didn’t want to pay. He put the computer in a closet, and started using an aging Dell desktop. A few months ago, he decided to get it fixed, and found us on Google. I believe he typed in something like “New Jersey Macbook Pro screen repair” or “Macbook LCD repair New Jersey” or maybe it had something to do with “Macbook Pro screen repair New York”. Either way, he found us and emailed us.

We told him it would be an additional $75 to drive up to Highlands from Philadelphia, which he thought was amazing considering he would be saving about $1100 vs. going to Apple.

We met him at his house in Highlands, which is on the market to be sold. In fact, the Realtor came over just as we finished the repair. His house will definitely sell quicker now that the Macbook Pro can be on display in their office, we just know it.
