Daniel emailed us last week about his 14.1-inch iBook G4 that had a completely broken screen. He had actually seen our flyer on Temple’s campus back in September, but he didn’t have the money saved up for a repair until now. We told him that it would be $299 to replace the screen on his 14.1-inch iBook and he was thrilled because he had been quoted more than $500 from shops in the Philadelphia area that would have had to have his computer for at least a week.

We met him at his dorm at the Edge on Temple’s campus and his iBook was repaired in about 30 minutes. He told us that he had left his iBook in his dorm with the door open and when he came back in his dorm room, the computer was on the floor. The Ghost of the Edge?
