We got a call today after Gabrielle’s repair. It was a really nice girl named Katia who goes to college near her home in Holland, PA. She had obviously broken the screen of her Macbook, and had taken it to the Apple Store at the King of Prussia Mall. She had actually taken it there twice. The first time, they told her it would be $800 for the repair. The second time, they said $1,200. We she told them that she couldn’t afford it, they gave her our phone number and told her to go look at our ad in front of the Verizon Store.
Katia gave us a call, and we agreed to meet later that day at a Starbucks in Holland. Her computer was repaired in less than 30 minutes, and she paid $299.

If you work from home, we can meet you there too…

Gabrielle emailed us last night about her white Macbook with a broken screen. It had been broken for about 3 months, and she had taken it to the Apple Store where they told her it would be $650 for the repair. Her friend recently got a new Macbook, and, in her jealousy, decided that she wanted to get her Macbook fixed. Her friend told her to look on Craigslist and see if anyone did screen repair. Luckily for us and for her, she saw one of our postings.
We exchanged emails and met her at her home in Ambler. We replaced her broken screen while enjoying an amazing episode of Maury. Gotta love daytime TV.

Susie gave us a call today. She just got a puppy, and loves him to death. Everything was going great until he hopped up onto her lap and knocked her Macbook off her lap and onto the floor. She was mad initially but couldn’t stay mad at her adorable pup.
She thought her life was over when she found out how much the repair would be. But her life greatly improved when she saw one of our flyers on campus. She gave us a call and we scheduled the repair for later today. We met her at Geisel Library on the campus of UCSD. Her Macbook was repaired in 20 minutes.

Repairs in a crowded train station are no problem…

While doing Tabitha’s repair in New York City, we got a call from Bob who was at the King of Prussia Mall. He had already taken his Macbook to Best Buy, where they took off the screen bezel, and unconfidently told him that they could fix the screen. They said it would be at least $1,000. That was obviously way too much when he could get a new one for $999.He
He then drove across the parking lot to the Mall to the Apple Store. They told him it would be $600 to fix. They recommended that he go online and try to find the right screen to fix his Macbook, but he was unsure if he could even do it. If the Geek Squad couldn’t do it, why should he be able to?
So defeated, he walked out of the Apple Store and saw our sign at the exit of the Plaza side of the mall, in front of the Verizon store. He gave us a call, and we arranged to meet at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, because we were coming back from New York City at 2:30pm. He met us at 4:30pm, and his son’s Macbook was fixed by 5:00pm. Perfect timing.

We can meet you during your lunch break…

We got a call from Tabitha in New York City this week. She had broken her Macbook about six months ago but never got around to getting it fixed. She had taken it to the Store and they told her it would be around $800 to fix, so she ended up buying an iMac and just setting the Macbook aside. She graduated from Davidson University last year and just started a job at Barclay’s Capital on 49th and 7th in New York City, so she needed her computer to work.
While out with some friends, she mentioned that she had a Macbook with a broken screen. Luckily for her, her friend is Kenya, the girl from Davidson that we met last month when we repaired her Macbook in Carlisle, PA. Kenya told her about us, and Tabitha called us that night.
We scheduled a repair for today at 12:00pm, during her lunch hour. We took the Bolt Bus into NYC and the repair was done within 30 minutes. Remember, we do repairs in New York City now, and prices are just $20 more to cover the bus fare.
