Beware Macbook! Six-year-old on the loose…
- San Diego, CA -
- Del Mar -
Tim gave us a call yesterday evening. He was looking for a computer repair service to fix his wife’s Macbook screen. Apparently, his youngest son had been playing a little too closely to mom’s computer. Sure enough, a toy truck found its way speeding towards the nearby office desk and the rest is history.
Jodi, the now not-so-happy mother and owner of a Macbook with a broken screen, did several Google searches looking for help. She wanted a company that was local and could get the job done sooner rather than later. After several unsuccessful attempts, she decided to add “San Diego” into the equation. After finding our site and glancing through several of our pages, she handed the phone to Tim. We set up a time to meet and were able to get her screen looking brand spanking new again. Glad we could help. Look out for those trucks!

When you haven’t used your Macbook in a while, it may have a dead battery…
- Jenkintown, PA -
- Via King of Prussia Mall -
Diana gave us a call after visiting the Apple Store and hearing that it would be “around $600-$800″ to fix the broken screen on her 13-inch white Macbook. She told them flat out that she wouldn’t be able to afford that since she was currently in a job search and money was tight. They told her to walk outside of the store and go see our sign at the entrance to the Plaza side of the mall. She did, called us, and set up a repair for the next day.
We met her at her house in Jenkintown, and the repair was done in 30 minutes. Her computer hadn’t been used in so long that the battery had absolutely no charge, but luckily she had her Magsafe charger there too!

Sometimes you may have dropped it a million times before, other times only once…
- Philadelphia, PA -
- University of the Arts -
We got an email last night from Chris at the University of the Arts. He had dropped his 2.33 Ghz Macbook Pro off of the bed in his Center City apartment. He slowly opened the screen and realized that the lower right corner had cracked. Because he had seen our flyers on the University of the Arts campus many times, the first thing that popped into his head was “Don’t pay over $800 to get your Macbook screen fixed!” and he started to freak out. Luckily, he regained his composure and ran to campus to find one of our flyers.
He emailed us, we emailed him back when we were available, and met him the next day. His Macbook Pro was repaired in 30 minutes and he was really glad he didn’t have to pay $800!

Throwing your remote in anger at your Macbook will only result in more anger…
- Philadelphia, PA -
- Dunkin Donuts -
We got a call yesterday from Travis in Philadelphia. He had broken his screen three months ago, researched his options and found us on Google. He saved up his money for three months and finally wanted to get his Macbook repaired. He said the most frustrating thing was that all of the music on his iPod was three months old because he couldn’t sync it with his Macbook. He had broken his Macbook in the first place by throwing his tv remote at it after he got angry during an Eagles game.
We agreed to meet today at the Dunkin Donuts in front of Cheltenham Mall. His Macbook was repaired within 30 minutes. Needless to say, even with his Eagles desktop picture, he won’t be taking football so seriously anymore. At least not seriously enough to break his screen!

Curiousity killed the cat, and a falling book killed this Macbook…
- Chula Vista, CA -
Sebastian had a shelf directly above his desk with several of his favorite books. Some hard cover, some soft cover. After getting home from high school last week, he saw that one of his hard cover books had fallen off the of the shelf and cracked his screen. He was obviously upset. He hopped online, and found us on his first Google search.
We met him later this week at his house while his mother watched patiently, amazed that we came to him and did the repair. 25 minutes later, and his Macbook was as good as new.
