If you drop your Macbook Pro down the stairs, you will probably break the screen…

We received a call last night from Victoria at the University of the Arts. She almost laughingly told us that she “has a cracked Mac”. She told us that she goes to the University of the Arts and she has the school-issued 2.5 Ghz Macbook Pro. Her life is on her computer, and she needed it fixed as soon as possible. Apparently she dropped it down the stairs…not a good idea.

A member of our Repair Team met her near campus at the Starbucks on Broad and Pine and repaired her computer in about 30 minutes. Needless to say, Victoria was relieved.

You never want to shut your Macbook Pro’s screen with the charger sitting on the keyboard…

We got a call from Sean, who actually lives about 2 hours away in Franklin Lakes, NJ yesterday. He told us that he had a Macbook Pro with a broken screen that desperately needed to be fixed. Apparently, someone shut the computer’s screen while the tip of the Magsafe charger was between the screen and the keyboard. Word to the wise: never do that!

We told him that on top of the normal $399 price for his model Macbook Pro, that the repair would also be $50 more expensive because he is outside the service area. He opted to drive within our service area, and a member of our Repair Team met him at a Starbucks in Cherry Hill, NJ today.

Within 25 minutes of his arrival, his Macbook Pro’s cracked screen was fixed, and his computer looked brand new.

Mark called after seeing our flyer on campus at the University of Michigan. He was a bit nervous, partly because he was so irritated for cracking his screen and didn’t have the money to pay what the Store was asking. He was much more relieved after talking to us on the phone We assured him that our same-day Macbook screen repair service is simple and effective.

A member of our Repair Team met him before his class in the morning, and repaired his macbook in the undergrad library. Perfect timing.

We received a phone call at 3:30am that didn’t include a voicemail message. We’ve gotten calls before in the middle of the night, but they ended up being spam phone calls without a phone number. So, when we checked to see who called and saw that the number was real, we were very surprised. We called the number, and a very nice girl named Kenya answered the phone. She told us that she dropped her Macbook and frantically tried to find somewhere local that would be able to fix it. She found out website, and gave us a call.

Kenya is from New York, so she wanted to be able to tell her mom that she could handle the repair herself. Being that there isn’t an Apple Store within 100 miles and she doesn’t have a car, we were her only option.

A member of our Repair Team drove out to Dickinson College on Saturday morning, and her Macbook was good as new in 30 minutes. We charged her $349 for the repair because her school was 2 hours away.

So remember, even though you may not live within our free same-day service area, we will come to you, just as long as you pay for gas and tolls!

Adam sent us an email after seeing our flyer while on campus at the University of Michigan. He had recently graduated and was looking into jobs/grad schools. We met him at his family’s house in West Bloomfield, and had the repair done in one hour. He was really pumped because he had been hooking his Macbook up through an external monitor, and was happy he could now successfully job search with a new screen!
