We received an email today from David in Bethlehem, PA. He had seen our ad at the King of Prussia mall about a month ago and took a picture of our contact information on his cell phone. He checked out our website and liked our prices and the guarantee that we would replace his screen a second time for only $100. He saved up his money, and decided that today was the day that his Macbook would be back to normal.
We met him at his home in Bethlehem and his Macbook was fixed in 30 minutes.

We can replace entire screen assemblies, too…
- Philadelphia, PA -
- University of Pennsylvania -
We receive an email from Garrett at the University of Pennsylvania. He had a 2.2 Ghz Macbook Pro that didn’t have a broken screen, but the metal frame around the screen had cracked all the way through, putting a ton of stress on the screen. He hadn’t been able to use the Macbook Pro as a laptop because of the damage.
We ordered a used (but in perfect condition) screen assembly, swapped out his undamaged screen, and replaced the entire screen assembly. We ran into a few problems during the repair, being that the hinge screws had pulled loose from inside of the computer. Nothing that we couldn’t handle. His computer was good as new and he could finally use it as a laptop!

We work on older Macs too…
- Philadelphia, PA -
We received an email from Linda F. in Philadelphia about a month ago about her 867 Mhz 15-inch Powerbook G4 DVI that had a screen that wouldn’t turn on anymore. She had lived in Bolivia and while she was there she had her Mac tech look at it. They diagnosed the computer as needing a new screen.
Because a picture could still be seen on the screen (but without a backlight), we first tried installing a new inverter. This didn’t work. Once determining that yes, a new screen is what the Powerbook G4 needed, we ordered a used screen that was in really good condition and performed the repair. We went with a used screen because “new” screens for older Macs cost more than what the computers are worth, so it isn’t worth it to order a $399 screen for a $300 computer. Because this particular model’s screen is glued inside of the frame, a member of our Repair Team met with Linda and picked up her computer and returned it the next day. This isn’t typical for our repairs, but since we had to basically glue the computer back together, it was necessary.
So, with the new screen in the old Mac, it is as good as “new”!

We can do repairs late on a Saturday night…

- Fishtown-
While in New York City doing some repairs, we received a call from Jay in Fishtown in Philadelphia. His sister’s Macbook was suffering a broken screen, and he saw one of our ads on Craigslist. We explained our service, and he particularly liked that if they broke it again it would only be $100 for a second repair.
We met him at 9:00pm on Saturday night and his Macbook was fixed by 9:20pm.

“This was the first time I complained and someone did something about it”…
- New York City, NY -
- Starbucks on 35th and 8th-
Karri is another person that we found on Twitter’s Advanced Search. She broke her white Macbook about 2 weeks ago, and was devastated to find out from the person at the Store that a repair for her broken screen would cost “between $500 and $800″. She wondered why they couldn’t have given an exact amount!
We emailed her and @replied her for about a week, and scheduled the repair when we told her that we were in New York City for the day doing repairs. She met us at the Starbucks on 35th and 8th, and with Starbucks patrons looking at us strangely, her repair started and ended in 30 minutes. When laughing about being found on Twitter, she said “This is the first time I’ve complained and someone did something about it. You guys seemed too good to be true, but are completely true.” Glad we could help.
